QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

How do you describe a good
web site?

A good web site has a clear contents and background, easy to read, quick to upload, and focus your customers' attention on the products you're trying to sell. It doesn't need to be full of flash and animations. An interesting and elegant web site without any flash or animation even get a special impression and more value. You can see my clients' sites.

What is the best format to save photos or images for web site?
Photos, images, and backgrounds for a web site are usually saved in jpeg or gif format. You can keep them in good quality AND a fairly small size, so your site can upload quickly.

What about the quality of pictures on the web?

Black and white photos are easier to be compressed into a good quality jpeg or gif. Colorful photos with lots of (small) details tends to be more difficult to compress. For example, a photo of a group of people tends to ask for less compression (for a clear good quality photo) which results in big size of file and slow down the uploading of web site.

Why some web sites are so slow to open?
The more pictures, features and special effects you put in the web site, the slower it will get.
Simple (but elegant) and seamless background, reasonable amount and size of pictures, and the web host connection are factors you have to consider in building a web site.

How long will it take to finish a web site?
Of course it depends on how big and complicated your web site is and how many photos you want to use, etc.. Our package of a simple one page web site with up to 4 photos generally takes only 1 week to complete and post on the web. We also accept rush order.

Whether you are ready to publish a site on web today or not, it is a good idea to secure your domain name as soon as possible before somebody else gets it.
